Hot Tip: Fall Foliage
The Division of Travel & Tourism is seeking information from hotels, restaurants and other tourism-related companies for the fall foliage season. This could include promotions/packages, special menu items, events etc. Select answers will be pitched to national, regional and in-state journalists for ongoing media opportunities. Information Needed: Business/website, Location, Brief description, Pricing (if applicable), Horizontal, high-resolution images with photo credit (if applicable). Creative Borrowing for Your COVID 19 Comeback presented by Oregon Arts Commission
This webinar provides information about how nonprofit organizations can use fully secured borrowing to help them through a financial crisis. Richard Linzer of Linzer Consulting gives an overview of this common financial tool. Irene Namkung, former board chair for Northwest Folklife Festival, and Stuart Weiser, former manager of the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, share how their organizations used fully-secured borrowing to manage their financial crises and ultimately become stronger, more resilient organizations. New NEA Suffrage Publication
National Endowment for the Arts announced the publication of Creativity and Persistence: Art that Fueled the Fight for Women’s Suffrage, the book that the agency has created to celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amendment’s ratification giving women the right to vote. For the book, the Arts Endowment carefully curated some of the most persuasive images of the cartoons, fashions, illustrations, paintings, poems, etc. that changed the status quo and, over time, the lives of women and America for the better.
